Living in a natural environment

Woodlands & Wetlands;
The natural aspects of life at Woodland Waters

The protected Native Woodland Reserve:

Seven hectares of mature Red Gums contribute to the estate’s dedicated public open spaces and will continue to for generations to come.

In our commitment to providing a natural and beautiful estate, you'll find dozens of original Red Gums scattered throughout the estate in streetscapes, parks and recreational areas. These beautiful old trees pay homage to the natural environment and provide safe haven for indigenous birds and animals.

The beautiful Wetlands:

Over four hectares of wetland reserve adjacent to the entry to Woodland Waters on Plenty Road provide a tranquil escape for residents and will be home to bird life. The wetlands are optimised to purify local rain water run off before joining the Plenty River.

Currently being created, rainfall and weather permitting the wetlands areas should be full with water and beaming with local flora and fauna later this year. If you're visiting out Land Sales centre or Display Village, be sure to visit the wetlands and check on progress.

Woodland Waters is Naturally Beautiful.

Set in picturesque surrounds, over 36% of Woodland Waters is dedicated to public open space. Residents enjoy walking / cycling tracks and boardwalks, BBQ areas, an amphitheater for viewing the wetlands and sporting ovals and playgrounds.

Woodland Waters’ design enhances the magnificent natural environment. With its open spaces, tree-lined streets and delightful vistas of Kinglake National Park and Quarry Hills a rural, tranquil ambience surrounds the estate.

In such a beautiful, natural and pituresque estate, it is easy for our residents to forget just how close to the city they are.
